Global Branching Limitation with TypeScript v2 Functions
We’re trying to use Global Branching to make an end-to-end change across Ontology, Functions, and Workshop , but we’re hitting a limitation with TypeScript v2 functions . Scenario We add a new property in the Ontology within a branch We can successfully use it in pipelines and Workshop in that branch Issue Our functions are built using TypeScript v2 , and: We can’t edit or version function code within the branch The function compiler only sees the main schema So we can’t reference the new property added in the branch Impact This breaks the end-to-end workflow: Ontology, pipelines, and Workshop are branch-aware TypeScript v2 functions behave as versioned artifacts Questions What’s the recommended approach to handle this? Are there best practices for coordinating ontology changes with v2 functions? Are there plans to make TypeScript v2 repos compatible with Global Branching

Feature Request: Conditional Redaction / Masking in Workshop Apps
Hello, We have a feature request for the T-Foundry platform. Currently, Workshop Apps in Pivot Table Widgtet already support conditional formatting (e.g., if a value is lower than 6, the cell background turns red and the text color changes to white). We would now need a form of conditional masking/redaction functionality. For example, if a value is lower than 6, it should either: be replaced with an asterisk (*), or appear as a blacked-out / crossed-out field. This requirement is particularly important for a more sensitive project we are currently working on, but it would also be highly valuable for many existing and future compliance-related use cases. If there is already a way to achieve this with existing functionality or a workaround, we would also appreciate guidance or support on how to implement it, instead of requiring a new feature to be developed. Thank you for your support. 1 post - 1 participant Read full

Making iteration speed faster
Hi, curious if anyone had experience with making iteration speed faster if you’re marketplacing changes from Dev space to Prod space. Suppose you want to add 1 line of code to your function backed action to Prod. You’d have to add that line of code in dev commit + CI check + tag release upgrade action version upgrade marketplace package version in devops install new marketplace package version I feel like there’s an incredibly high number of steps you have to go through to make a very small change. Anyone have experience with accelerating this? 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic

Relabel Values in Object
I have a Chart XY in Workshop that I am sorting by Value Ascending to match the process order. An example of the values from the original column in the Object are Start, Middle, and End. I created a new column to correctly order them so that when you are viewing the chart you are seeing them in the process order. The updated values are “1_start”, 2_middle", and “3_end”. This solves the issue of sorting the values but I would like to be able to relabel the values so that they look cleaner. I know that there is Conditional Formatting within objects but I think that only allows you to update the color or the alignment, not the way that the value is presented. Any suggestions on how to relabel values? Thanks! 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic
FR: Reset / Discard user edits and fall back to backing dataset
Hi, we are very frequently stumbling across a missing functionality, which is the reset/discard user edits on object types. Imagine, you have an object type that is backed by a backing dataset. It has a property that frequently updates via pipeline, but you want to allow users to edits that value. The underlying dataset is still frequently updating the value, but since it has an ontology edit, only that edit is valid - so far so good. Now imagine the case, the user wants to reset that edit (discard) and let again the value be defined by the frequently-updating backing dataset value. As per my understanding, there is actually no direct way of achieving such a discard. In situations where we can not prevent the discard case, we are implement a very effortfull workaround This is: we store edits which potentially require reset in separate object types additionally. When the user applies an edit, we edit the main object type and create the secondary „edited property" object. With
