Key Development
Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest has offloaded $27.2 million in Palantir (NASDAQ:PLTR) shares following a 43% rally, signaling institutional profit-taking as valuation multiples face heightened scrutiny amid broader macroeconomic crosscurrents. Concurrently, Wall Street sentiment remains deeply polarized: while retail and growth analysts continue to model aggressive long-term upside based on explosive commercial adoption—highlighted by past U.S. commercial revenue growth of 149%—macro-focused analysts warn that rising long-term Treasury yields and rate-sensitive tech valuations could trigger near-term consolidation for high-multiple AI leaders.
Market & Business
- Institutional Realignment: ARK Invest's reduction of its PLTR stake underscores a growing debate on whether the stock's recent explosive rally has outpaced near-term fundamentals, prompting large-cap growth funds to rebalance portfolios.
- Valuation Headwinds: Rising long-term Treasury yields are exerting renewed pressure on rate-sensitive growth equities, placing Palantir in the crosshairs of macro-driven volatility alongside peers in the broader software and infrastructure sectors.
- Analyst Commentary: Market commentary remains sharply divided; mainstream financial media and prominent commentators continue to debate Palantir’s valuation trajectory, juxtaposing its unmatched enterprise AI execution against traditional risk-off pressures tied to macroeconomic yields.
Strategic Implications
- Enterprise Pricing Power: As institutional scrutiny intensifies, enterprise buyers are increasingly demanding clear, quantifiable ROI metrics from AIP deployments to justify software budgets in a high-yield macroeconomic environment.
- Ecosystem Expansion: Early-stage adoption continues to widen organically, evidenced by Palantir and FBI alumni advising emerging venture-backed startups, signaling the continuous seeding of the Ontology ecosystem across next-generation commercial use cases.
Action log has ghost mapping
Hi there, I created an object that enables writeback functionality and action logs. I need the action log to be a faithful documentation so the log is set to does not allow editing. When configuring the action, after changing the parameter type, the mapping in action logs failed. I deleted the original mapping and created a new one. This is the start of the nightmare. The deleted mapping is still recognized which prevents me from saving any edits. Because the log is set to be not editable, I also cannot add a temporary column to trick the system before deleting again. Is there any solution before I delete the whole log? Any tricks to prevent this from happening again? 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic
Am I allowed to use auto-translation during the exam?
I am planning to take the Application Developer Associate certification exam. I struggled with English when I took the Foundry & AIP Aware exam, so I would like to ask if I am allowed to use translation tools such as Google Translate during this exam? (I noticed that it is listed as open book.) 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic
Object Set: Entity Types Not Initialized
Hi, Issue: I’m working through the AIP Speedrun tutorial on ( this step ), but when I click “search around” it throws an error “Failed to execute Search Around – Object Set: Entity Types Not Initialized” when trying to select Entity. (see screenshot below) What I have tried: In the Ontology Manager: I saw another post in this forum about a similar issue and they advised to check the Object V2 Data source, but I checked and it seems to have completed indexing: However, when I navigate to Ontology Manager > Object Views it shows an error “errorName”: “ObjectSet:EntityTypesNotInitialized” Additionally, I have gone back and double-checked the previous steps including the pipeline transformations and everything seems to be correct. I tried running the re-indexing and this did not resolve the problem either. Would appreciate any assistance resolving this! Thank you. 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic
How can we perform automated performance testing (Smoke, Load, Stress, Spike, Soak) for a Palantir Foundry application?
I am currently trying to define a performance testing strategy for a Palantir Foundry application and would appreciate guidance from anyone who has implemented this in a Foundry environment. I would like to perform the standard types of performance testing: Smoke testing – verify that the application/API works correctly with minimal load. Load testing – validate performance under expected/normal concurrent user load. Stress testing – gradually increase the load to identify the application’s performance limits. Spike testing – simulate a sudden increase/decrease in traffic. Soak/Endurance testing – maintain a sustained load for an extended period to identify degradation, resource exhaustion, etc. My current understanding For conventional web/API applications, I would normally use a tool such as Grafana k6 to automate these tests. For example, k6 can generate HTTP requests and configure different workloads using virtual users, request rates, durati
