Daily Palantir Intelligence Briefing — Sunday, October 4, 2026
Key Development
Palantir has named Armada its first certified modular data-center partner, officially pushing the Foundry and AIP stack directly into sovereign, edge-computing infrastructure. By combining Palantir's enterprise AI software with physical, customer-owned modular data centers, the company is bridging the gap for high-security and disconnected environments that require local processing power without cloud-native dependencies. The market responded positively, with shares trading near $193.50.
Contracts & Government
- Sovereign Edge Expansion: The partnership with Armada targets the growing demand for sovereign artificial intelligence solutions, allowing governments and defense entities to deploy AIP in isolated physical footprints.
- UK Healthcare Headwinds: Palantir faces intensifying political and grassroots pressure over its £330 million NHS data platform contract. Health workers and campaigners are pushing for the deal to be scrapped ahead of the upcoming 2027 break clause, highlighting ongoing friction in public-sector deployments.
- Domestic Surveillance Scrutiny: Palantir’s federal software integration faces fresh legal challenges. A newly filed lawsuit alleges that Department of Homeland Security agents utilized investigative databases to track and intimidate protesters and observers, keeping the company's government contracting practices under heavy public scrutiny.
Market & Business
- Valuation & Analyst Sentiment: Sell-side targets for PLTR hover between $186 and $202 over the next 12 months, reflecting modest upside (7% to 8%) following a prolonged valuation expansion cycle.
- Institutional Positioning: ARK Invest notably trimmed its Palantir position while allocating capital elsewhere, signaling some portfolio rebalancing among high-growth tech institutional holders.
Strategic Implications
- Infrastructure Independence: The Armada partnership signals to enterprise buyers that Palantir is serious about decoupling AI deployment from centralized hyperscaler cloud infrastructure, offering a complete hardware-software stack for edge operations.
- Public Sector Risk Management: Continued friction regarding civil liberties lawsuits and NHS contract pushback underscore the necessity for enterprise and government sales teams to aggressively fortify compliance narratives and data-governance transparency.
Request for Data Engineer Associate Certification Exam Code
Hi, I recently passed the Palantir Foundry Aware Certification and would now like to take the Data Engineer Associate Certification. When I try to register, the certification portal requires a promo/exam code. I don’t have a Palantir point of contact. I also contacted the certification email address, but received an automated response saying that the inbox is unmonitored. Could someone please advise me on how I can obtain an exam code for the Data Engineer Associate Certification? Thank you. 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic

Frozen Speedrun AIP Workflow Deployment
I just started learning to use Foundry and am getting stuck at the Deploy step of Transforming the Data. Every time I deploy, even after I have deleted and rebuild the entire pipeline from scratch, my deployment gets stuck. I have tried it both with the data outputs grouped and ungrouped by changing settings in the Use LLM node. Has anyone encountered this before or have an idea of a workaround? I can’t find anything similar on any of the tutorials or youtube videos. . 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic
Faster Pipelines Out of Memory Errors - improve error message
My “Faster” Data Pipelines failed because of a OOM error. I feel like the error message in this cases could be improved. Also AIP didn’t detect correctly that it was a OOM error. Even though it was more or less visible in the logs. 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic
