The Pentagon’s battle with Anthropic is really a war over who controls AI

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth sometimes appears as if he’s more interested in the optics of playing the part of a military leader than he is in actually being a military leader.  Maybe that’s why he has chosen a Hollywood-esque high noon — or, at least, late …

Derived timeseries of "Categorical time series" (strings)

I have multiple time-series that are Categorical, aka, they are not integer or floats, but strings types. I would like to have a derived timeseries that acts as a “fallback” between different timeseries, for instance: If time-series-A is present, take time-series A. Else, take time-series-B. Else, take time-series-C. I want to use the Combine time series card. It seems that in the derived time-series UI, an error occur if I’m trying to derived new categorical time-series with A node has an input with an incompatible type. It's likely a categorical series was used as a numeric input, or vice versa . Is there a way to achieve this ? 2 posts - 2 participants Read full topic

Order of the source plot for "Combine time-series" in derived time series?

Confirming an intuition suggested by the UI: when configuring a Combine time-series card in the derived time-series UI, I can specify multiple source plots, and specify the “first” or “last” to perform an union. The order is specified by the order in the right hand side ? So here, the “red” (H) timeseries will take precedence (if present) over the green time-series (I). Correct ? 2 posts - 2 participants Read full topic
